Welcome!
My name is Kara Davis and I am a Sophomore at the University of Richmond. I created this electronic unit resource for a Science and Social Studies based education class I am currently enrolled in.
You can navigate my website by clicking on the various tabs that are located under the "more..." tab in the top right corner of every page. Under the "Content and Notes" section, you will find the Standards of Learning that are covered in my unit resource, general background information about the unit, and vocabulary that will be introduced in the unit.
If you hold the cursor over the "Lessons and Activities" page, a drop down menu will appear. Here you will see that I have divided the Life Processes unit into 10 days of instruction. Clicking on a day will automatically bring you to the outlined lesson for a specific part of the unit. You can reference the table of contents on the main page of "Lessons and Activities" to see what material from the unit is covered on each day.
In addition to the resources that are listed on the individual days, you can also find an annotated list of books and websites (each under it's own tab) and a few ideas and resources for summative assessments for this unit.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at [email protected].
Enjoy!
